having moved from a house with a garden into a flat without outside space, I was missing keeping bees close to home, I had asked nearby businesses for roof space, but had not had any replies.
it was whilst using google earth looking for areas, that I spotted what I call "no mans land" a small strip of overgrown land adjacent to where I live, I started investigating the area but after phoning a few places was still unsure on who owned this overgrown plot, and if anything, it may even belong to the flat owners, I then hatched the plan of the secret bee garden, make a removable panel in a boundary fence, clear an area and place a couple of bee hives there, the previous year I had ordered and received a few flow frames just for the fun of it, now it seemed they would actually be a good investment to try out, I plucked up the courage to go for it, the secret bee garden had begun
